Jim Johns, Husband To Kaye, Founder With Kaye Of Tandem Prayer, Beloved Father, Grandfather And Friend, Passed Away On February 20, 2021.

Jim and Kaye founded Tandem Prayer (formerly PrayerPower Ministries) with one simple mission: to help Christians have a deep and growing relationship with Christ by teaching them what Jesus taught about prayer. Jim helped lead prayer conferences all over the United States and around the world, and in 1995 launched PrayerPower radio in the DFW market. In 1999, he produced the foundational teaching series, Praying to Make a Difference, which has been taught and applied worldwide. Jim had three books on prayer published in 2006, and in 2007, he and Kaye became Directors of Prayer at e3 Partners.

Jim was a man the Lord could and did use to touch and have a lasting impact on many, many lives. He was content, and he leaves a legacy that flows from a life well lived. Jim lived in joyful obedience to Christ, serving others while peacefully and patiently awaiting the smiling face of Jesus whenever Christ determined that his work here was completed. And that is how we view Jim’s death – he did exactly what he was called to do by our Father, and now he is happily in God’s presence, singing our Lord’s praises forevermore.
